To become a member

  1. Sign up, Login and Apply under the Join menu. Parents and children need separate logins.
  2. Here is a step by step guide: How to Sign up and Apply to Join and Enter a tournament/team/supervision rota.
  3. Contact the vetting officer (Contact) and start the vetting application process (Vetting).
  4. Pay membership fees as below*.
  5. Join the Rota as below*, if you are a parent of a junior, or offer to help run the club.
  6. Contact the chairperson to ask them to confirm your membership.

*Parents of associate members who join for the Community Games pay much reduced or no fees and do not need to join the rota.

Membership of the club is open to all, adults and juniors, beginners and grandmasters, from Skerries and surrounding areas, subject to ratification by the committee. Membership is from September to July. Members and parents are expected to help out with supervision and with the running of the club. To see how you can contribute, see Contact > Committee and Volunteer pages. One way is by joining the Parents` Supervision Rota (see Contact).

All members over 16 and one parent from each family need to be Garda Vetted. This is a legal requirement in clubs where juniors and adults participate together. Until you submit all the necessary forms to the vetting officer your membership will not be confirmed and you may not attend or be paired in tournaments. See Join > Vetting.

Try it out

All are welcome to visit the club to try it out free of charge for a week before deciding if you wish to join or not. On your first visit we still need you to Login and Apply to Join so we have your details. This is very important for juniors especially.
